Dear Brother Benjamin Akih PhD:

I attached your PhD title because I know it makes your poor soul happy. I took a break to go through your open letters to the Belgian and American Authorities, denouncing Southern Cameroon Activists, Mark Baretta and Tapang Ivo respectively. You know why I called you brother in the first place? Yes! Because you and I have three things in common.

1. We both hail from Menchum Division
2. We both read for our GCE A’Levels in the halls and corridors of GHS Wum. Your principal was Mr. Ndangam, presently one of the leaders of SCACUF, that you dare denigrate.
3. We both studied Engineering in Germany and afterwards, went for a second field of studies. You did Moral Philosophy and I did something which culminates to Global Financial Macroeconomics.

Boy, you made a mistake. Moral Philosophy was dead with Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century. You should have gone for something more practical like mine, than a residual faculty depicting Jesus of Nazareth flying in the air, walking on water, feeding the five thousand and banishing demons into poor unfortunate and innocent pigs.

I must admit that you have made some very good points in your Facebook wall. The problem is, you have been asymmetrical in your condemnation of the CamerOUn problem. You lashed and trashed SDF, without pointing a finger at CPDM, which is the central problem of all. First of all, I am not a member of any of those parties.

I belong to those who create political parties, and the AGENDA of SDF and CPDM haven’t actually addressed our most pressing problems of that plantation called Cameroon. We can’t dismiss the achievements of our ancestors and yet couldn’t do better. I will like you to go back to your ancestral ESU village in Menchum, and inspect your traditional inheritance and ask yourself what is its compatibility with the CIVIL LAW of La Republique , that you intentional kept away in all your lashings of the Anglophone initiative. Engineers, like poets are born to be engineers. They are not made. I expected more rigor related to your discipline, but your sounded just like a product from ENAM, a typical programmed drone.

You proudly proclaimed your new identity as a Canadian-Cameroonian. There’s a big difference from a Cameroonian-Canadian. Cameroon should come first in your identity, not Canadian. It is the typical home made syndrome with NEGROES, they always think they are one step better than the indigenes. At the very core of the issue, you in particular can only be an ESU man. You had lived and studied in Yaoundé, why didn’t you call yourself a Yaoundé-ESU man, but feel comfortable enough to use the appellation a “Canadian-Cameroonian”.

I have never heard Brother Norbert Simms, my Scottish teacher who spent 47 years in Cameroon say he is Cameroon-Scottish. Again, it is only the NEGRO who runs away from his ancestral shadow and who says that too often. Nothing against your character brother, but it is necessary to educate you at this point, since your Moral Philosophy studies don’t seem to do so. There’s one thing I like about ESU, their *iLung music*, especially when somebody dies… do you remember Peter Meh Chu? He was good at the pentatonic scale. Good old memories. Now, keeping it short. When you left Germany, you had made up your mind to go to Canada because you knew it was servile to work for the Cameroun government.

The same regime that you can’t criticize today. You left Russia to Germany, because of the same reason. You tried as much as possible to delay your return Journey to your United Cameroon. Keller Célestin, had also studied Aeronautics in Russia and came to Berlin to “pass-time”, with a PhD program, just to get a Visa to go to America, because like you, he saw no future in Cameroon, since he came from a poor home like you, no chance without bribing. Today, brother Ben, you seem to have acquired some glory from your “Canadianess”, and feel comfortable to write to the Belgian and American Authorities blackmailing Mark Bareta and Tapang Ivo.

Is it your plan of a honourable arrival to La Republique ? Did you ever write to the international governments about Paul Biya’s atrocities over the decades? No Brother, No! We as a people of Southern Cameroons are not obliged to make peace with La Republique, who in the first place is content with their possession of our basic liberties, Land and resources. Start with them, and then come and try hard to convince us Southern Cameroonians to unite with La Republique. Your method of political correctness is just one of those underlyings, that symbolizes the despotism of your Phantasy.

Advocate unity, but leave Mark Bareta and Ivo Alone. In every revolution, there are three types of people:

1. The Rebels
2.) The Self-Seekers
3.) The traitors.
Your are a self-seeker for La Republique, using the Southern Cameroon platform and a traitor to Southern Cameroons, using the Francophonie skewed way of doing things.
Go to ESU and create just a small workshop for bicycle repairs Benjamin Akih PhD, instead of teaching “Mechanical Engineering”. Why give that knowledge to Americans who have everything already? By the way, nobody teaches Mechanical Engineering. We teach a subject in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
