It’s such a great pleasure scribing this letter, looking at you from the other side of the mirror. You know I’ve always been with you, in times of success, happiness, joy and achievements.
But after the recent post I wrote for your blog today, I’ve decided to send you this letter. Not to create enmity between us but to let you know how I feel, openly…
Did you know that it’s always good to put yourself in the shoes of others? ( which is exactly what am trying to do). I know I’ve written horrible things which you’ve published on your blog, but, it’s time to face reality!
Anglophone Cameroonians are going through horrible situation back home. Massive arrests, torture, heavy militarization of the regions and killing of our comrades. Don’t you think it’s absurd to continue publishing such? I know I am an Anonymous, The Greatest ever, but I equally have a conscience. I can’t keep writing bad about my people when they are facing the highest form of oppression while demanding their legitimate right. You ight not understand because you’re out of the country, but if you come home, you’ll breath the air of oppression and evil will of the regime!
Before we published the recent article about Mark and Tapang, I warned you your readers won’t like it, but you insisted and said ‘It’s Good for business’ now look at where it has driven us to. No one will take us serious now, even if our intentions are genuine. Many readers have vowed not to read again (I pray they don’t go forever).
My dearest Kiki, in the article, it’s mentioned that the two, Mark and Tapang, are out for Fame! Don’t you see that that’s what you’re doing now? You first accused Mark of encouraging women to walk naked without adequate research. I recommended that we try to do some findings but you weren’t ready for that, afterall, you wanted a good image before ‘other women’ it led to massive insults instead. We’re losing it! And if we proceed this way, we’ll have nothing to be proud of.
I would not like to mention that I didn’t even do much research before we published the recent article, I was just following your orders ‘write something controversial ‘. Even if you want to publish a controversial write up, don’t you think a factual one will do the work? My boss, I respect your but it just the truth am saying…
I’ve received a lot of insults with regards to this. I needed to free my conscience. I really want to apologise for causing this calamity! Mark and Ivo are great leaders and they temporarily represent the voices of the people. Thanks for reading, I am The Great Anonymous.
