Pressure seems to be mounting on the thirty-year regime of Paul Biya and the Cameroonians of the diaspora are positioned behind the controls.

After giving the head of state Paul Biya a seven-day ultimatum to return to Cameroon, the activists of the CODE, raise their shields again.

Indeed this organization which has set itself the task of putting pressure and monitoring the expenses of the Biya regime abroad, has just released a list of 3 people now prohibited from private residence in Europe.

Issa Tchiroma Bakary, Minister of Communication and government spokesman, Niat Njifenji, the eternal president of the Upper Chamber of the Parliament, Cavaye Djibril Yenguie, laying down power and president of the National Assembly will no longer be able to avoid the watchful eyes of the CODE in Europe.

The group promises to extend the list according to the evolution of the political and social situation in Cameroon.

It also asked President Paul Biya and his government to resolve the hot issues of the day, including the payment of 60 months of salary arrears to teachers; The demilitarization of the English-speaking regions, the immediate publication of the report on the Eseka tragedy, and the frank and sincere settlement of the crisis in the anglophone regions paralyzed by ghost towns.
The CODE welcomed Paul Biya’s decision to “submit to the injunction last week, which avoided a humiliating confrontation” in Geneva where he had been staying since his official visit to Italy.
