Despite the opposition of the defense, the Military Court decided to combine the procedure concerning the three main leaders of the English-speaking protest and that concerning the other co-defendants.
On April 27, 2017, there will be an audience of the three main leaders of the Anglophone protest, Mancho Bbc, Barrister Felix Nkongho and Dr. Fontem Neba. The Military Tribunal proceeded at the last hearing to the joinder of the proceedings, so it is with the other accused that they will appear. As a reminder, the co-accused are prosecuted for disorder. The three leaders aroused at the beginning of the trial answered to the Cameroonian justice, hostility against the fatherland, secession, civil war, revolution, armed band, propagation of false news, attack on public agents of the State and collective resistance.

At its last outing, the United Nations called on the Government to release those detained in the context of the English-speaking crisis that began in November 2016. The United Nations also called for the Internet to be restored in the English North-West and South-West. A request that has been heard by the Government, which until now has been slow to agree to release those detained in the context of the Anglophone crisis.
