According to the social media, the so called teachers strike for the non-payment of salary advances is a mere government device to prove to the international community that Cameroon is a democratic state and always ready for dialogue.
Others say, judging from the cooperation of the strike leaders with the government, it is clear that they were installed by the government; they say government may be attempting to stage a perfect strike where the organized and highly cooperative striking teachers will be very willing to yield to dialogue thereby showing to the whole world that the government is always ready for negotiation no matter the situation.
