Cameroon win the Africa Cup of Nations 2017!! The Indomitable Lions are champions again. This may not be a vintage Cameroon side, but Hugo Broos’ side have had the last laugh in Libreville, as they win their fifth AFCON final in front of a very unpartisan crowd.
Egypt’s players drop to the floor, exhausted and emotionally drained.
In the first half they looked imperious and comfortably in control, with Elneny putting them ahead.
But you can’t tame these lions that easily, with substitute N’Koulou hauling them level before Vincent Aboubakar scored a great goal to win it in the final minutes.
They didn’t look great in the group stages, but in the knockout rounds they’ve dispatched Senegal, Ghana and now Egypt!
