British tennis legend Andy Murray showed off his football skills during a semi-finals match at the Cincinnati Masters in Ohio and it could have seen him penalised.
When a ball came hurtling towards him during the romp against Canada's Milos Raonic, Murray kicked it on the half-volley towards the crowd.
But as the ball hurtled towards spectators, the high kick narrowly missed the chair umpire's head.

Murray could have been penalised for the move. The ATP rulebook states: "Players shall not violently, dangerously or with anger hit, kick or throw a tennis ball while on the grounds of the tournament site except in the reasonable pursuit of a point during a match".
However, despite the near miss, Murray avoided disqualification and went on to post a 6-3, 6-3 win over the Canadian to advance to the final.
It was Murray's fifth win against Raonic this season, who contributed two double faults which set the tone for the contest.
The win strengthens Murray's bid to displace Novak Djokovic from the number one ranking. ABC/AFP
