Jose Mourinho has offered long-time Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick a new one-year contract, according to reports.
Mourinho toured his new team's Carrington training facility this morning with Executive Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward with The Guardian subsequently reporting that the Portuguese tactician has decided to offer Carrick a fresh deal.
The 34-year-old has yet to announce whether he will stay on, although earlier in the week the five-time league champion was effusive in praising his new manager's track record.
