“COME and take your beemer because it makes me sick!” This is what gogo Nonyameko Mbali (59) has to say to the owner of the BMW that crashed into her new RDP just before Christmas in 2013.
She had only been in the house in Wells Estate, Port Elizabeth, for three months when a motorist lost control of his car and crashed into it. The gogo decided not to press charges but told the driver he could get his car when he fixed her house.
However, gogo Nonyameko is still waiting! The car is still in her yard after numerous attempts were made to get the owner to clean up after himself.

“It has brought rats into my house, destroying my clothes and furniture and for most of December, I was in hospital with flu because my house is so cold. I’m stressed and I don’t enjoy my life any more. I just want this car gone.”
Although the police said it wasn’t too late to open a case, the gogo said she didn’t want to have anything to do with the car.
“I tried to take him to Small Claims Court but he never arrived. I think getting rid of the car in my yard will make me feel better.
“Every time I look at it, I become sick,” said gogo Nonyameko.
The car owner, who refused to be named, said: “I can’t comment because my lawyer is handling the matter. Criminal and civil
action will be taken against Nonyameko
because she’s withholding my property.”
