Fashion Police to Get a Fresh Start (and Face) With New Co-Host Margaret Cho

The next season of Fashion Police will be getting a breath of fresh air by way of comedian Margaret Cho.

The funny lady will co-host E!'s red carpet rundown series beginning on Jan. 11th, the night after the 2016 Golden Globes (she'll appear on the panel through major highlights of the awards season, including the 2016 Grammys, 2016 SAG Awards and 2016 Oscars).

The announcement of Cho's new gig comes after what was a decidedly awkward—and often contentious—2015 season following show host (and anchor) Joan Rivers' death in 2014. Previous co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin both departed from the show abruptly last season.

"I love joining the crew of Fashion Police," Cho said in a statement about her new role. "To me it feels like family. Although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up—Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit. It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa, and when I see her laugh at my joke, I feel like Joan [Rivers] is smiling, somewhere."

We can't wait to see what she brings to the table.
