Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa drew the largest crowds ever to the National Sports stadium at his Judgement Night function on Saturday, ZANU PF deputy director of information, Psychology Maziwisa says.
People who came to the function ballooned from an initial expected 150,000 to close 250,000 since the stadium’s overflow areas were filled to capacity, he said.
Said Maziwisa: “Analysts calculated that there would be approximately 150 000 people at the National Sports Stadium for #JudgementNight2! They were hideously wrong! “With the main Arena filled to capacity by 5pm and two additional-un-budgeted-for- overflows also filled to capacity and scores of people almost on the verge of being turned away for lack of space- the total crowd at the NSS last night was easily 250 000!
“As the place was packed, so did people leave packed with #blessings too! ,” he said.
Footage released shows hundreds camping outside the function as the service continued.
