HARARE - Top South African gospel artiste Deborah Fraser last night jetted into the country for tonight's United Family International Church's (UFIC) much-hyped Judgement Night 2.
Fraser, who flew in with her full band at the invitation of UFIC leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, said she is honoured to be in Zimbabwe for this year's Judgement Night 2.
"It's a great honour for me to be here in Zimbabwe for such a great event and an even greater privilege to have been invited by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, who is not only a great man of God but an anointed preacher as well," Fraser said. "I am used to watching him on television and now I will have the honour to watch him live.
"I came with my full band and we will be performing tomorrow (tonight). I assure you that there is going to be powerful worship. Judgment Night 2 came at the right moment, a time we will be celebrating the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, so there is going to be a strong presence of the Lord and we are going to be witnesses of the glory of God."
A capacity crowd is expected at the National Sports Stadium for the prayer session, with organisers saying those living in bondage will be set free.
UFIC spokesperson and senior pastor Prime Kufa told the Daily News that miracles will be witnessed at the event.
Fraser said: "God is going to reveal Himself in a mighty way and families are going to be restored."
The award-winning gospel singer, best known for hit songs such as Ndikhokhele, Abaye Abombona, Uma Kungenxa and Masimbonge among others, told the Daily News she will perform some of her well-known songs.
"I will perform some of my best songs tomorrow, and we are going to have a nice time worshiping God," she said.
